Robert A. “Bob” Hoover

Jimmy Doolittle called native Nashvillian Bob Hoover “The greatest stick and rudder pilot that ever lived”. Hoover is a world-renowned aviation legend who was captured and escaped during WWII and earned international fame as an air show performer. Bob Hoover was inducted into the National Aviation Hall of Fame in 1988.
