Frederick W. Smith

Fred Smith founded Federal Express Corp. (FedEx) headquartered in Memphis. FedEx serves more than 200 countries flying more than 650 aircraft and employs more than 215,000 people. Average daily shipments exceed 5 million. Mr. Smith was inducted into the National Aviation Hall of Fame in 2007.
