Col. James R. Haun, USAF

(1911 – 2001) | Memphian Jim Haun taught flying and barnstormed in the 30’s then served is country during WWII and in the 50’s became the C.O. of the Presidential Flight Department in Washington. Following retirement in 1964, he continued flying and became one of Middle Tennessee’s most beloved Flight Instructors in Nashville and Smyrna.
